Amplify Film Studies: Because You Matter is a youth film program aimed at 7th-12th graders, potentially seeking volunteers. The program's mission is to empower underserved youth by providing them with the tools, knowledge, and platform to tell their own stories through the art of filmmaking. It aims to amplify diverse perspectives and create pathways for underrepresented talent to work behind the camera and fostering a future, where storytelling reflects a more inclusive industry. The program also focuses on improving academic performance through language and the 21st-century development of STEAM education. It offers a general overview of script structure, film history, film language, film genres production, technology, filmmaking, and making a short film.
